Sherron Powers
Director of Utilization Management
Sherron has 18+ years as a LMSW Social Worker, she started with Stonecrest as Utilization Director in February 2023. Sherron has an extensive history in Social Work in prior positions as Clinical Supervisor of CRU at Hegira from 2017 until 2022. She has worked in various areas of her profession including Utilization Care Manager (Carelink 2008-2017); Director of Social Work (Samaritan Behavioral Center of Michigan 2007-2008); Lead Intake Manager (Havenwyck Hospital 2017-2018); Supervisor of Inpatient, Outpatient, Partial Hospitalization as well as Psychiatric Intervention Center Aurora Hospital 1999-2001. Sherron received her master’s of social work at Wayne State University in 1996.
