Behavior Analysis

Understanding Behavior Analysis

Behavior analysis is the study of human behavior. It focuses on understanding why individuals behave in a certain way and how their behaviors can be changed or avoided. When applied to mental health treatment, behavior analysis can help people learn valuable coping strategies and work toward better overall health.

At StoneCrest Center, we follow an evidence-based behavioral model, and we are one of the few psychiatric hospitals that employ board-certified behavioral analysts (BCBAs)

Our Expert Team

At StoneCrest Center, our BCBAs deliver services that can enhance the well-being of our patients and their families. These master’s-level clinicians provide highly individualized care that begins with an in-depth assessment.

Initial evaluations help our team determine a person’s programming needs and pinpoint behavior challenges they may be facing. Based on the information gathered, our BCBAs make evidence-based treatment recommendations that can yield the most successful outcomes for each patient.

BCBAs work collaboratively with our patients for the duration of their programming, and they carefully monitor patients’ progress along the way. With the help of our highly skilled professionals, patients who participate in behavior analysis can make strides toward improving their communication and social skills as well as academic performance.

what past clients say

My husband and I felt like we didn't know who our son was anymore because of how he was acting out at home and in school. After completing inpatient treatment at StoneCrest, he's stable, respectful, and the happy boy we knew him to be. Thank you StoneCrest!
